Description

I am a long time motorcycle collector that specializes in only low or zero miles vintage and contemporary Hondas. Having heard rave reviews for quite a while about Mr. Vic World's CB750 Sandcast restorations, decided last year to finally order one from him. At that time he had been quite inundated with orders, o he quoted me longer than his normal 16 to 24 weeks lead time. It did take a while, ut finally just this past April I took delivery of his special built crate including of course the CB750.

When I opened it, could not believe my eyes as to the painstaking detail he goes through, o give his customers (as he says on World Motorcycles site) “The complete experience of standing back in1969 on a Honda showroom floor purchasing a brand new CB750 Sandcast ”. The bike was stunning..so much so that I spent a while researching the sandcasts, nly to find out how REALLY rare sandcasts are, nd more so, he rarity and value of both “2 digit” and “3 digit” sandcasts (a 3 digit meaning from frame #s 100 up through 999 of course).

Having had the pleasure of the CB750 Sandcast in the collection since April 15’ and after some thought, ’ve decided to “increase my investment” and ask Vic if he would build a lower numbered CB750 Sandcast for me. Of course he agreed but also pointed out “ the increased premium/cost!”. I said sure, et's do it…same color !

That brings us to the jewel in this auction.

Again, 've only had the CB750 Sandcast since April, pened the crate, olled it into the carpeted “bike display area” where it has sat ever since (except to take these fotos). Frame and engine numbers are original and fairly low (Frame is: CB750-1002102, ith Engine: CB750E-1002018).

It still has one mile on the clock (as received from Vic) I never fueled it (as I wanted to keep the protective film of light oil in the tank unmolested), nd have never started it. (Vic did send me a video of its first start just before his 1 mile test ride, nd it starts instantly, dles, nd runs as new).

This bike came with all the advertised special parts that sandcasts originally came with, uch as: NOS gauges (with sandcast cable drives), riginal double cut front fender, actory original wrinkle tank, ecessed key switch, OS “one line of text” turn signals, NOS plug keys, OS original clutch, hrottle, ach, nd speedo cables, OS original clutch and brake levers, OS tank and side cover emblems, OS taillight, OS headlight assembly, OS shifter,

2 hole rear hub, ounded steel rear rim, OS sprockets, OS oil lines, OS handlebar switches, riginal tool kit, nd literally hundreds more of NOS parts. All sourced from the early 1970’s, rue to the bike itself.

The exhaust pipes are Yamiya new “no number” gorgeous pipes, nd the short chainguard is also from Yamiya (an excellent copy of the original).

Vic's bikes are all built by hand, nd always take a long time to finally take delivery. According to the info and multiple web and magazine articles about Vic resulting from the sale of his CB750 Prototype last year, is bikes currently sit in museums worldwide, ncluding Honda's own Collection Hall in Japan, t American Honda in Torrance, s well as the Barber Museum in Alabama and amongst many others. . Here is a one time opportunity to own one of his great bikes...without the wait !

The winner of this auction will of course receive all that I received from Vic when I purchased the CB750 Sandcast. This includes the original can of Ruby Red touch up paint, ool kit, onda Owner's Manual, nd Honda Factory Shop Manual. The motorcycle comes with clear/open California Title, s signed by Vic World.

Included in the selling price is the ISPM#15 compliant /heat treated (ok for export) special built wooden crate. A $500.00 deduction allowance will be made for the cost of this crate (from the final sale price) only if the winning bidder or their representative takes delivery of the bike in Garrison, .Y. .Shipping something as valuable and delicate as the CB750 Sandcast should only be transported in a crate, or obvious reasons.

For shipping purposes, he crate measures 90 inches x 38 inches x 55 inches high, nd the total ship weight is 850 lbs.

Please be sure, hat with the exception of rolling it out of the crate onto my showroom floor, hat since I received it, his bike has not been touched!

Thanks very much for looking, nd Good Luck bidding!
