"You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda"That was Honda's ad campaign slogan back in the day and it sure sold a lot of motorcycles!!! You are bidding on my 1974 Honda CB750. I call her "Suzie Q". If you were an adult back in the late 60's and early 70's like I was. (I was born on 1950). then you know that we all saw the movie Easy Rider and wanted to be like the guys in that movie. So. this bike represents what we did. Amazingly. this bike was customized like this in 1975 and has remained untouched all of these years. The bike is a stock CB750 with extended fork tubes. a his/her sissy bar chopper seat. medium ape hangers and a 4 into 1 Jardine header. and a Harley rear wheel. Other than that. and the K and N filters. this bike is bone stock. AND YOU could easily put it back to stock if that was your desire. However. I fell in love with this bike when I found it in the original owners barn 2 years ago!! He last rode it in 1991 and had it stored in a very nice pole barn. The cylinders had been fogged and all fuel drained and there she sat. I freaked out and had to have it!!! I wanted to re-live my glorious past back when you could ride to California and back on one of these and love every minute of it. No trailering back then. We rode!! The paint on this bike was done in 1975 by Wysong. It represents a style of the period and everyone who sees this bike freaks over it. I have NOT started it since i bought it 2 years ago so it will need a going through for sure. Carbs. tune up. probably flush and clean tank. I have the chain guard but I put a new chain on it and just haven't gotten around to reinstalling the chain guard but you can have it included to the winning bidder. The clutch works. Tires hold air and she rolls around fine. Front brake is real grabby and sticks. Tires are excellent. Michelin in front and Continental in rear. The bike has all of its original components on it. The speedometer is true and miles are accurate to the best of my knowledge. AND. the bike still has to 2 original Honda keys that came with the bike when it was new!!! So. if you are looking for a bike like this. or just want to own it for the pure enjoyment of something from back in the day. maybe this CB750 is just the ticket?
