This 1966 Honda CB160 is in exceptionally nice condition. The bike is in my shop on consignment. nbsp;given to us by a family member. who's Dad rebuilt it 10 years ago and since passed on. Although represented to me as restored. I believe this bike was carefully rebuilt mechanically and remains cosmetically very original. I see new gaskets in the bike on the valve covers and engine covers. The engine is very clean and not overdone. the finish on it appears very original. The paint is also very nice on the bike. there is some "orange peel" in the tank paint. the fenders. frame etc. look great. The bike has Cheng Shin tires front and rear with no dry rotting or cracking. The chrome on the pipes. rims and sides of tank is beautiful. I don't believe the spokes were out of the rims of this bike. they do have a patina to them and it is consistent from the nipple to the flange. The cables appear to be original. all the controls move smoothly. The glass on the speedometer is a bit yellowed. the head light and tail light are clear. The bike has been sitting dry for some time. in a climate controlled environment. there is no battery in the bike at this time. The gas tank is clean inside. The bike turns over with very good compression. I have not tried to start the bike. This is a 50 year old Honda twin that would display beautifully in any collection.
