Honda GL1200 1984 Completely redone 5 years ago, Ready to ride

1984 GL1200 GoldwingBike has been redone 5 years ago. Repaint. any extra chrome and lights. Lights are 90% LED's. I rebuilt starter OEM. which if you know these bikes 1984-87 GL1200 starters had problems after many years. Thay will not turn over very fast after bike was up to temp you needed to wait 15-20 Mins and it would start. I rebuilt starter and I have not had this problem again and it's been 3 years since I redone the starter. Also the problem with the plugs on left side of battery the 3 wires that for stator. Plug for stator has been removed and hard wired solder and heat shrink. I have not had any problems at all with the stator on this bike. Front fork seals been redone with OEM seals and OEM bushings & Race Tech springs. Rear shocks are New Progressive Suspension 416Both tires are Dunlop Elite 3 Bias Front with 90% tread and Rear 85% tread rear does show a little bit of cupping but not bad. tires put on 3 years ago. I bought a Gl1500 with sidecar 2 years ago and have not road GL1200 a lot since. But I have taking it out some. I put 150 miles on it just before winter. Brakes pads are 80% good and are Sintered HH Brake Pads and brakes calipers all 3 have been rebuilt. I have a J & M CB with intercom on bike JMCB-2003K-DU also have Pioneer CD player with Satellite radio built in. I have Satellite Tuner in trunk. I am trying to give you as much info that I would want to know if buying a bike on e-bay. The bike is 31 years old but I would not be afraid to leave on a 3000 miles ride today with it. Well I would change oil & check the tires pressure before I leave. And hope it warms up some. since it is only 14 deg now. lol I will change oil and filter with OEM filter and Honda oil before it sells. I can do this the day it is picked up and show buyer how to or I can have it done before. I will get filter and oil so it is here. I have only run Honda oil in bike since it been in family for 7 years. I have had oil tested at lab and motor came back healthy. I will get online at Blackstone Laboratories and print oil test. I can store it for you until spring if needed to. I also put a custom Hartco seat on it with Embroidered Eagle on back rest. I have a lot more money in this bike then i know i will NOT get out of it what I have spent $8000. 00 at least buying it and doing what I have done. But it is one of my toys lol. If buyer make arrangements with shipping it and I am paid in cash that fine. Once it leave my place I am not reasonable for it. I would rather have buyer pick up bike. Ride Safe!!!
