Over 4 years, ndian gave the NASCAR Champion of that year, new Indian Chief painted like their Race Car... The first one in1998 was Jeff Gordan, ho was given a new 1999 Chief. The next one was Dale Jarrett, inning the 1999 Championship and getting a new 2000 Chief. Then Bobby Labonte and Jeff Gordan again to receive the final one for winning the 2001 Championship and getting another new Chief, his time a 2002 model... Call for more details -

The Indian Factory in Gilroy California also built a twin of each of these motorcycles to keep in their collection and all 4 of these 'factory' bikes were sold off at a later date... This Chief was the 'Factory' Dale Jarrett Chief and is one of the rarest Indian Motorcycles ever produced... FYI; Dale's personal Chief is on display and on loan to our dealership... The Factory Jarrett Chief has just under 9,000 miles on it today. It is near perfect and has just been a display bike most of it's life. It runs very well and is ready to ride today.

This uber rare Chief hashad just three owners. It was purchased from Indian Corporate onNovember 2001by a fellow in San Jose, A and then sold again with less then 200 miles in May of 2002 for over $27,000.00 to a fellow in Hollister, A. The owner of our dealership bought the bike for his personal collection in 2010. It has a few upgrades; including Progressive Air Ride, 2MM Mikuni, ustom Corbin seat along with OE Solo Seat, ance & Hines Pro-Pipe and Custom Wheels.
