2001 Indian Chief, estored, ustomized and stunning.
It's time to sell my 2001 Indian Chief, custom build. All work was done here at my shop and I'm a perfectionist.
The bike wasoriginallyblack.Apparently theprevious owner putsomething (ahum) in the sidesaddlebagpromptlylighting it afire. So, bought her requiring a tire, addle bag and a belt. But I couldn't stop there, fcourse as I wanted a super clean ride. So here iswhat we did:
Total disassembly, own to the frame. Then we rebuilt it entirely.
Added Mini-Ape handlebars. The original handlebar is wide and difficult to steer with.
Themotor was unaffected, utwe added a new clutch.
The paint was bare metal respray, one right (we'd charge 8 to 10k to do it to another). We painted her a 2008 Cadillac metallic blue color with tansaddle bags and seat.
Painted pin stripes were done by hand.
Decals are all new - vintage look.
Rims were taken apart - restored and the rim was painted red, s you can see.
The leather bags and seat are new - and cost $1,200.
I've added braided brake lines.
Thereis acustom horn cover (ceramic) installed - beautiful. I'll attach closeup pics later.
New whitewall tires were added - Iprefer white walls. They are new with no miles.
New brakeswere installed.
New battery installed - one month old.
New drive belt.
New bulbs.
New Indian head on front fender.
NO RESERVE = LAST BID WINS.
Please note - she is for sale with a bill of sale from myself - Idon't think that I have a title. As Imentioned this bike was purchased from aninsurance auction. We knew that she would be totallyrestore - no expense spared. She is, hen, irtually a new bike cosmetically. Mechanically, he is in excellent running condition. There is a small ding on thefront shock tower (myfault storing her last winter). Not terriblebut Iwanted to mention it. The rest is
Due to her age, he is offered at no reserve, o warranties and no guarantees. She runs 100% - don't misunderstand. me. But your definition of "restored" max exceed my definition. Therefore, nspections are invited and encouraged. If you like bikes, ook at my other auction of a 1982 Honda CBX. You'll like it.
I canassist with shipping but prompt payment is requested. Please remember, eposits are non refundable. I do report non paying bidders. I ask that you don't waste my time. I wouldn't waste yours.
Thanks for looking.
