According to the wife this Indian was pushed into the Burbank Southern California garage over 50 years ago and never moved. my friend and I dug this out of the garage and kicked it over and found good compression. the tires still had air in them. I was told her husband was the original owner since 1946. she said it ran when it was parked. The bike looks like you good perform a good maintenance on it replace the tires and ride it as is. or it is an excellent candidate for an easy restoration. it looks to be all original with the exception of the leather side bags. All the brakes. throttle distributor advance are operational and move freely. The wife was unable to find the keys so I am unable to check for spark. I plan to leave the bike untouched and sell it the way I found it. including all the patina and dust. it has not seen sun or water in over 50 years and will be delivered in the same condition.
