THIS BIKE WAS IN STORAGE SINCE 1972. AND OWNED BY A 92 YR OLD COLLECTOR. I HAVE BEEN A RIDER SINCE 1973IT WAS ORIGINALLY BOUGHT NEW ON LONG ISLAND HERE IN N. Y. FOR SOME REASON UNKNOWN TO ME THE ORIGINAL OWNER REGISTERED IN IN ALABAMA I HAVE THE TAG. ND REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE FROM THAT STATE . LONG WITH SOME OTHER DOCUMENTS AND WITH THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL AND SHOP MANUAL. IT CAN BE REGISTERED (IF NEEDED) IN ANY STATE YOU WANTRIGHT NOW THERE IS NO GAS IN IT. ECAUSE ITS STORED IN MY HOMETHE BATTERY WAS DRY UPON CHECKING AND FOR GENERAL PURPOSES I REFILLED IT WITH ACID AND IT ACTUALLY TOOK THE CHARGE. A NEW ONE CAN ALSO BE PURCHASED IF NEEDED. THE HEADLIGHT AND TAILLIGHT WORKS AS SOON AS THE MOTOR IS STARTEDIT HAS BEEN MINE FOR A YEAR NOW AND STORED IN MY HEATED BASEMENTWHEN I GOT IT LAST YEAR. IT WAS NOT STARTED SINCE 1972. AFTER A CARB CLEANING . A FRESH SPARK PLUG AND SOME FRESH GAS. HE STARTED IN 4 KICKS. HER 42 YEAR NAP WAS OVERTHE ORIGINAL 2 STROKE OIL IS STILL IN THE OIL TANK. AND THE ORIGINAL CRANK CASE OIL WHICH IS A BREAK IN OIL IS SLAO STILL IN THE CRANK CASE SHE RUNS AND IDLES PERFECTLY. I DID NOT RIDE IT BECAUSE I JUST HAD SHOULDER SURGERY. I DID. OWEVER CHECK THE CLUTCH AND GEARS WHILE SHE WAS ON THE CENTER STAND WHILE RUNNING. ND ALL THE GEARS SHIFTED SMOOTHLYI WAS SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS. AND REMOVED THE GAS AND PUT IT BACK IN MY BASEMENT. ALL THE PICTURES ARE SELF EXPLANATORY. THE CHROME ON THE FENDERS ARE FLAWLESS . UNFORTUNATELY I CANT SAY THE SAME FOR THE HANDLE BARS. TIME GOT TO THEM SOME HOW. NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN CHANGED ON THIS ALL ORIGINAL BIKE. ONE OF THE MIRRORS IS MISSINGTHE CHOKE IS A CABLE TYPE THAT WORKS AS IT SHOULD FOR STARTING THE ENGINE. THE GEAR SHIFT LEVER IS SLIGHTLY BENT BACKWARDS(see photo) INDICATING THE BIKE HAS HAD A SLOW FALL TO THE LEFT. NO OTHER DAMAGE EXISTS WHAT SO EVER FROM THAT INCIDENT. IT WAS PROBABLY A YOUNG RIDER WHO TOOK THE SPILL. THIS IS THE WAY I GOT THE BIKE . ND THIS IS THE WAY YOU WILL GET IT IF YOU ARE THE WINNER. ITS A VERY NICE EXAMPLE FOR A BIKE OF ITS AGE. IT IS ALSO SOME WHAT OF A RARE MODEL. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE IN MY 47 YRS OF BIKING. IT MAY BE CALLED A BUSHMASTERTHE MODEL # SEEMS TO BE G3TR-AIT WILL BE SOLD AS IS WITH ALL DOCUMENTS THAT I HAVE. E ASKED ME WHY IS THE BOLT SO BIG ON THE KICK STARTER????IM SO GLAD HE ASKED ME THAT BECAUSE THE BOLT WAS LOOSE. AND IT IS THE ORIGINAL BOLT. I DID NOT CATCH IT UNTIL HE WROTE IN AND ASKED ME ABOUT IT. IM SO GLAD HE DID BECAUSE I KICKED IT LIKE THAT 4 TIMES TO START IT AND I AM VERY LUCKY THE PEDAL DID NOT DO DAMAGE TO THE SPLINES ON THE SHAFTSO THANK YOU TO THE PERSON WHO WROTE IN.
