1974 Z1 Kawasaki Z1A

I purchased this Z1 this spring from the second owner. Other than the exhaust seat and grab bar the bike was in excellent original condition. It was kept in a heated garage and when it was put away (in perfect running condition) in 1989 the fuel was drained the motor was fogged the tank and sidecovers were removed and stored in his bedroom closet. A few new rubber bits in the petcock refreshing the front brake system cleaning the carbs and changing the oil was all that was needed to reintroduce this baby to the road! A new reproduction exhaust seat and grab bar made this "restoration" complete. As most of the bike is all original there are some blemishes. I attempted to show every blemish with some close-up photos. A couple paint chips on the tank a scratch on the tail some pitting on the front fender and evidence of battery acid spilling on the frame can all be seen in the photos.
