HISTORY: In 2007, purchased my first motorcycle from a nearby dealership. It was an '07 Ninja 650R. After a couple years of learning how to ride, utting several thousand miles on it, nd receiving the title in hand, t came time to sell the bike to pay off some imminent bills. So I listed it on eBay in '09, nd it sold 7-10 days later. Little did I know within a year or two of that sale, he "bug" would bite me again. Nothing else comes close to the liberating feeling of being on a motorcycle, m I right?! So in mid-2010, went back to the same dealership to purchase another new bike. This time, t was gonna be a '10 Ninja ZX-6R because of my desire to move from 'sport' to 'super-sport' status. Fortunately, efore the purchase was made, had been advised not to buy new and to instead procure a used bike.
So I hopped on eBay (as I did in 2008 when I purchased my first automobile ['06 Charger Daytona R/T] through a dealership hundreds of miles away) and ended up buying this current bike in an auction from a gentleman named Lenny in the New Jersey area. It was seamless, nd I have enjoyed my time with the bike ever since. Lenny had taken great care of the bike, aking a few aftermarket upgrades himself. I don't know much about automotive operations/functionality, o I left all his equipment intact. I mean heck, t made the bike look even better than stock. I performed the scheduled maintenance throughout the time the bike had been in my tenure and I was actively riding it. I'm originally from the country, nd when I relocated to downtown Columbus in mid-2014, iding/storing it had become more of a nuisance than previously anticipated, hich is what brings me to wanting to sell it in the first place. Plus, t just feels like it's time to pass it off to the next worthy soul :)
FEATURES: Stock features are readily available all over the Internet, o I'm not gonna delve too in-depth on those. However, arious upgrades include: Nissin brakes, Dynojet Power Commander, ftermarket exhaust overhaul, ome improved bodywork, egs installed toward the front faring, nd a working DC outlet wired to the battery terminal. The rear tire is also relatively new (tread depth-wise), s I've only put ~500 miles on it since last replacement.
CONDITION: This motorbike has not been operated in 14 months. Prior to that interval, t was fully functional. Currently, he only two issues for concern are: (1) cosmetic damage sustained from an incident wherein a pedestrian knocked the bike over [closeup picture included] while it was parked, nd (2) the bike currently lacks a battery [as it discharged completely while sitting in storage]. Beyond that, o other issues have ever been encountered. If it's a sticking point for the top bidder, will purchase a new batteryupon auction closingand make sure it arrives in time before the motorcycle transfers hands. Additionally, will include my helmet and bike cover at no extra charge.
SHIPPING AND PAYMENT:Preferably, he winner would come pick it up from me in central Columbus. I'm flexible, hough! If the auction price meets a certain threshold, might be inclined to split freight charges with you 50/50. Regardless, 'll work with you to ensure we select the transportation option you most prefer. I'm just not exactly privy to the best way of moving motorcycles across state lines. The entirety of payment would be due upon receipt. I'm just a private seller with title in hand, o ability to finance or anything of that sort. Paypal would be the most ideal payment method. Cash, itcoin, nd certified money orders or cashier's checks are also acceptable.
I'm starting off the auction at 99 cents, s I do with all my eBay listings. The reserve price is reasonable and below average market value for its condition and mileage. Thanks for browsing, nd don't hesitate to message me if you have any additional inquires!!
