You are bidding on a running 1973 Kawasaki 900 motorcycle that someone made into a chopper. I know, MG, ut this is what we did back in the 1970s here in the United States. I bought this bike many years ago just because it has the very rare 1973 Z-1 engine on it. (VIN# Z1E-10509) I actually rode it one time when I bought it, nd amazingly it went down the road nice and straight, nd ran great. It started with both the electric and kick start. But it hasn't been started in at least five years. It's been in dry storage the whole time.It still kicks over, ith good compression. My guess is a new battery and fresh gas and it will fire right up. The ignition has been moved to the home made side cover on the left side, nd the original battery box and electrics are behind the switch, nd are easy to get to by removing the seat. The brakes work and the lights work. All the electrics are originals from the 73 Kawasaki. It appears to have the original carburetors. It has the correct front end, riginal fender, ut has longer fork tubes. It has the original rear hub and brakes, ut has a 18 inch Harley wheel and spokes. It has Kawasaki sprockets and chain, hich look to be like new. It only has a speedometer, nd no tachometer. The mileage on the odometer says 41,938 miles. I have no idea if this is correct, r if it even came with this engine. When I rode it, esides being very loud because of the 4 into 1 header muffler, he engine sounded great, ith no strange noises or knocks, nd it never smoked a bit. So my opinion is the engine is fine, nd may have possibly been rebuilt at some point. But I have no idea. I have been dealing in Kawasaki triples and 900s for a long time. I know this 1973 engine is very sought after by collectors. But I also know it sits in a chopper frame. There are a lot of original Kawasaki parts on this bike. It has no title. It comes with a bill of sales. I can get a title for it, ut it takes at least three weeks and costs $500. So, o make it clear, 'm selling it with a Bill of Sales only. There are many title companies online that can get you a title. I have no reserve on this bike. Winning bidder will have to pay by cash, ertified bank check, r bank to bank wire transfer. I do NOT use paypal. I require a $500 deposit on all my bikes within three days of end of auction, nd the balance within 7 days. No Exceptions. I can have this bike shipped anywhere in the world, ut buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. I have shipped many bikes overseas, o it is no problem. If you are picking it up, can store it for up to 30 days, ut it still must be paid in full within 7 days. If you are a collector, ou know how much a 1973 Z1 sells for these days, p to twenty thousand dollars. I've sold engines alone for over $2500, o this bike, ven the way it is, s valuable and collectable. I never overprice my bikes, r even try to get top dollar. I just like to find them and get them to collectors who will restore them. But they are so hard to find in the United States now,and I don't have many left. I'm always looking for any brand classic motorcycle, r classic car. Email, all, r text with what you have. I'm always open to offers. Most of my bikes never make it to the end of the auction, o if you want to offer, r even trade, on't hesitate. I like muscle cars in any condition, nd have people to do the shipping. My name is Richard, o call or text me at 567-295-9060 Thank you for looking, nd hope to hear from you soon. Thank you!
