1978 Kawasaki KZ-1000 LTD B2

Classic dependable excellent condition 78 KZ 1000 LTD. This bike has about 4,500 miles on a new motor built by Redline Cycle in Illinois. I've owned this bike for around 4 years and only put 500 miles on the bike myself. The previous owner did the rebuild with the major components done by Redline.

The Redline motor is 1075cc, elded crank, ndercut 2nd gear with Andrews 2x degreed cams, yna coils, yna ignition, ith 29mm Smoothbores from Redline. Upgraded newer style front brake master cylinder. Frame and front/rear calipers have been powder coated a few years back with tapered steering head bearings installed on the bike. Just about everything is new on the bike including new battery,O-Ring chain, into 1 Vance & Hines Exhaust. Tires are good, lenty of tread and no cracking but are about 10 years old so I will include 2 brand new tires with the bike. The mileage listed is what is on the speedometer but not the actual since it was rebuilt.

This is a beautiful bike and my 3rd 78 LTD. This by far is the fastest due to the Redline engine. The only reason I am considering selling this is due to surgery that left me with a plate in my neck holding four segments together. Nothing due to an accident but my riding days are over. I'll also send the tool kit, anual and a few filters I have.It did sit for 18 months since my surgery so I send the carbs to Redline to clean/rebuild and put in a new battery. Started right up.
