KAWASAKI Z1R-TC TURBO

this rare bike is in need of restoration. i had it running but with the brakes not working and its reputation i decided against riding it down the road. the turbo spins freely. the engine sounded good with no weird noises. a look in the spark plug holes shows new pistons. it has obvious engine work/modifications done like the oil pan deep sump and the turbo oil return re-routed to the clutch cover. i do have the original oil filler cap with the return elbow in it and the original ATP boost gauge although it needs rebuilt. it came with an SU carb on it but i replaced it with the correct Zenith carbThe bike had been sitting in a barn for 10 years and was part of an estate sale and i had to apply for and have the vehicle registration (title) in my name. i have not been able to trace any history on the bike except for to confirm the prior owner is in fact deceased. the speedo reads 50. 00 kilometers Vin # is 7695look closely at the pics and i will attempt to answer any questions regarding this rare bikethe Molly graphics are in pretty good shape. i have attempted to find out more about this bike and model but information on these is scarce as no records were kept.
