You are looking at a very nice unrestored example of an early Z1. This bike was bought from a very good friend on mine in the US a few years ago. and I know it to be as original as it looks. I have fitted a repainted body set. painted by Ralph at Paintworkz. he is the only one I would trust to do the early colour correct. The Vin is Z1F-00314. and engine number is Z1E-00349. and it was built in September 1972. and has all of the early parts like chail oiler. vac ports in the head. black foam seat. early gauges. unribbed carbs. etc. etc. All numbers match on rims switches etc. and everything works as it should. The bike has only 8536 miles on it. and I know that to be true. when I got it the original non "O" ring chain was still in place. but I have since replaced it and the sprockets. Some of the bolts have been re-zinced. and some chromed bolts have been replaced with EXACT nos items or re-plated to the same gloss level that Kawasaki fitted to the bike. The switch blocks have been cleaned. painted to the same gloss level as they were. and the black plastic wiring sleeving was replaced with the exact type used. There is a sealed battery fitted. and it is fully charged. If anyone has any questions. please ask and I will post answers/ pictures here. Thank you for looking at my bike. and happy bidding.
