Very rare 1969 H1 500 Kawasaki for sale with actual matching frame and engine numbers....KAF 00289 and KAE 00289.
The first year of manufacturing the 3 cylinder, wo stroke H1 6314 were made for 1969 World Wide sales, his bike was built on the first day of production in early September of 1968.
We have restored this bike to the exact factory specifications right down to the factory ISSO and Oil stickers on the frame (I have the sticker that goes on the gas tank that you can put on if you like).
This has had a complete ground-up rebuild of the engine with pistons, ings, eals etc. to re-shimming the transmission and new shift forks (bike had 5631 original miles before restoration).
It has the original Window Carbs and Bridgeport cylinders.
Please notice that I have made the up-grade on the Factory Recall side cover. The ignition leads ran through the motor and came out between the gas lines to the carbs...so if you had a gas leak...away you would go. I am selling the bike with the original side-cover as well, f this is going to a museum then you want to be period correct.
As you can see all parts have been rebuilt, epainted, hromed, olished and or replaced.
There are no miles on the bike, e have started it several times to "cync and dial-in" the carbs.
If you have had or currently have an H1 you will never forget or enjoy the sound these classics make, special the ones that have been restored they sound just like they did when they came out of the dealership.
It comes with a clear California Title and licensed to 2016.
The Reserve Price on this bike is $19,000.00 US.
