I purchased this bike from a fellow inmate several years ago out of Colorado. At the time it had around 3K miles, ight now it's at 16.6K. The bike is ready to go! The bike is well sorted I feel and has taken me to Baja many times and to the wilds of Utah last year without issue. I don't ride it and have moved on to other things.
The bike has.....
Renazco seat
Touratech Panniers
Wolfman tank bag
TKC 80's with good tread
Sprockets and Renthal oring chain, ood condition
Spare air filter
Rally Risers
Lithium battery with pigtail for tender
Stiffer rear spring
Extra heavy duty tubes front and rear
Rally foam grips witch drastically reduce the vibration these bikes are known for
Side stand
A custom led light bar, abricated by me, itch in my humble opinion is quite the sh*t. Cree led's driven on constant current drivers delivering just over 10K lumens if I remember correctly. Stupid bright.
Both headlamps converted to HID
The wide front rim on these bikes is known to be a weak point off road. I flattened the stocker on a fire road at speed and it now hangs on my wall. I replaced it with a more dirt oriented narrower Excel.
The PO installed dedicated front stainless braided hoses to each caliper from the master cylinder. Front brake strength is a non issue.
The forks have never been serviced although I did install some bleeders on them. Same for the rear shock witch is stock other than the spring upgrade. I ride desert and feel the suspension is dialed pretty well. I've had this bike in a controlled 2 wheel drift carrying a 100 pounds of gear so I don't think the suspension is a issue, very predictable, racts straight, urns well.
The engine has never been apart other than checking the valves, y me. Oil changes all done with OEM Motorex oil and notations of the maintenance were written in the back of the manual witch the next owner will receive along with the KTM briefcase thingy they come with.
I have used this bike as intended. Ridden all over Baja, down salty beaches for miles and countless rock gardens. It is not beat and has never been crashed! It does have a few scratches on the tank mostly acquired through transport or occasionally bumped in my garage.
