1974 Penton 250 Hare Scrambler NO RESERVE!
Up for sale is this great running Penton Scrambler at no reserve. Runs strong, tarts 1st kick and goes through all the gears. Be sure to look at our YouTube video at the end of these still photos.John Penton was named to the American Motorcylist Association Hall of Fame in 1998 for his contributions to off-road racing. He began building his own race bikes in 1968 with proprietory power plants from Europe, ost notably KTM of Austria. The rest, s they say, s history. We have here a 1974 250 Hare Scrambler that still runs like it is ready to be entered in the Jack Pine Enduro. Improvements introduced on the 1974 machine include the 2.9 gal. "Watermelon" fiberglass gas tank, n 18" seat with 3.5" thick foam, onger travel 35mm Ceriani gas forks and laid down rear shocks. Also featured this year were plastic fenders and high shoulder Akront rims.There is no title to this bike so it will be sold with a bill of sale. The mileage is completely unknown but eBay requires an entry in that field. The bike is located in New Stanton PA near the intersection of I-70 and I-76 (PA Turnpike). We can accommodate pickup on a 24/7 basis and our driveway is big enough for any size truck or trailer.
