I am the second owner of this 1989 Moto Guzzi Mille GT. This is one of the last standard configuration Guzzis made, n the mold of the earlier T, 3 and T5 models. This model was imported to the U.S. in 1989 and 1990 in either black or red and with wire wheels or cast and a host of other differences . This one is obviously red with wire spoked wheels, lloy rims, riple disc integrated brakes, spd transmission, 49cc Nikasil engine with PHG 30mm Dellorto carbs. It currently has a little over 13K miles. It was stored by the original owner for many years and was recommissioned last year and is now running reliably and well. There are no leaks, t is a beautiful solid bike, ut it is not a virgin, t has some small chips and stains. It is completely stock except for new lower alloy handlebars, ew grips, &N filters and a Dyna ignition. The tires (Metzler ME880’s), ubes and battery are all about 1 year old, bout 1200 miles ago. New fork seals, ork oil and dust covers were put on over this past winter. The seat is very comfortable, he transmission shifts better than most any other Guzzi I have owned over the past 30 years and the riding position is excellent. It has its stock tool kit, he owners manual (in poor condition) and some spares including an issue of Guzziology. It is fully capable of being ridden from one end of the country to the other (6 gal tank). However, here is no provision for luggage nor is there a windshield. The bike is currently for sale locally. I reserve the right to cancel the auction and any bids, hould the bike be sold via any ads that have been placed. If you do not have a good history with ebay as a bidder, on’t bid. You are expected to complete this auction if you win the bid. A $500 nonrefundable deposit must be received within 48 hours of the completion of the auction – payment via PayPal using friends and family – you pay the fees. The balance of the amount must be paid within 5 days of the completion of the auction – either using PayPal (friends and family again) or a certified fund transfer. The bike can be held for up to 30 days from the completion of the auction. I will help with delivery of the bike within 200 miles of Mentor, hio – i.e. I will trailer it to you at no charge or meet you at the 200 mile point. If you are way beyond that range you will need to arrange pick-up or fly in and ride it home. The opening bid is $3,500, uy-it-now is $4,500 (which I think disappears should a bid be placed) and the reserve is $4,250.
