This bike was last ridden today on 4/13/2015. bike is being relisted as previous buyer had a personal issue that caused him not to be able to complete the transaction. Bid $4500 and if no one else bids on it. it is yours! This Deadwood Frame and VIN is #1915. the engine assembly is out of VIN #1713. As many of you know. my friend and I are avid motorcycle enthusiast's and have been collecting Excelsior Henderson's for a while. We had the chance to purchase the engine out of #1713 and since we had a full Deadwood frame without an engine we decided to build our latest shop bike! This bike was most recently proven at our last Maggie Valley ride through the mountains of NC last September. The bike earned it's stripes and was ridden throughout the weekend by Sean Howard (Member of the EHRC Board & Fellow enthusiast) Sean put the bike through it paces with a passenger in tow and we rounded the weekend out with Dan Hanlon and I riding the bike from Maggie Valley NC to Apex which is over 300 miles. The bike starts. runs and performs extremely well with all lights and electronics functioning as they should. The mileage is accurate for the engine as we put the odometer from #1713 in the bike. As stated above we built this as a bike that we could have friends and visitors who stopped by hop on and ride or what we call a shop bike. From a looks perspective the bike presents well. but shows some nicks. chips and scratches and imperfections on the front and rear fenders. The tank is really nice with no dents or scratches. Their is some pitting on some of the chrome. Overall the fenders and tank have a fantastic shine and luster on most of the paint and there are multiple pieces of chrome that look excellent as well. The bike has brand new wheels and tires on it that were installed just prior to our Maggie Valley trip last September. they are really just broken in. The bike has had the transmission re-bushed. oil pick up tube installed. scavenge pump bushing replaced. oil cooler and the proper belt tension adjustment. The bike has had a recent oil change and looks great as you can see in the pictures. The bike is 15 years old and is our daily rider. it is not a show bike and is not being sold as one. The bike starts. runs and handles extremely well. Bike also has a nice set of leather bags on it. Some of the stitching needs attention. but they look great and function well on the bike. they have really cool Indian head nickels built into the straps on each bag. Bike has OEM style mufflers and it sounds like the baffles have been punched. they have a real nice snap when you crack the throttle. Both the front and rear motor mounts have been replaced and are new. Bike comes with a key and a clear NC title.
