Peugeot is a famous pioneer of the motorcycle and car industries. which company is still in business from the moment that they started manufacturing motor-vehicles in the year 1899. This really neat Peugeot P50T model has gone through a time-warp. as it is still in total original condition without being restored. The engine starts instantly and runs ever so nice. the paint as well as the chromed parts are showing age. but to my opinion the bike would better stay like this as it is only in original condition once. Both tires are still the original Michelin 'Cable' ones and just like the bike. are also in a remarkable condition for their age. Personally I regard the condition where it is in not as something really disturbing. machines from this era and in this condition are getting much harder to find and now command prices higher than nicely restored equivalents. but then of course there’s always the choice of giving this machine a second life by restoring it. Both the original frame- and engine id. plates are still on and like should both the frame- & engine-numbers are matching with each other. Furthermore the original leather tool-box is still in place and contains its old grease-pump. a really nice period tire repair kit and some tools. The dynamo is of the same make as the headlamp and note the little tail-light which is located left just under the seat. This machine has never been road-registered and comes with an official European certificate of origin which states the make. model. year. displacement. weight etc. and an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium.
