Peugeot is a famous pioneer of the motorcycle and car industries, hich company is still in business from the moment that they started manufacturing motor-vehicles in the year 1899.
This rare twin-port 175cc Peugeot sports-bike was a very advanced & expensive motorcycle at the time and this particular machine has been with its second owner for many decades (1981-2015).
The engine starts instantly and runs very well, he paint is original and really nice when considering the age, hough showing some (really) light surface rust and traces of use on places. The chrome is after almost 63 years also in a fair condition, nly both rims have been painted somewhere in the past.The odometer reading is 9777 km = 6087 mile and can't find any reason to doubt this.
The original buiders id.-plate is still in place and like should both the frame- & engine numbers are matching.
I am fairly sure that the color of this motorcycle is the same as the color that was on the 1950's Peugeot car that inspector Columbo was using (see image).
This motorcycle comes with an official European certificate of origin which states the make, odel, ear, isplacement, eight etc. and an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, hich documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride.-On this listing I’moffering a special (fully sealed) motorcycle crate, areful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS-depot as close as possible to you at my expense,meaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. at my end plus the ocean-freight charge, here you are responsible for all charges at your end, ike ISF filing, ntry fees, ort-handling, ventually broker fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, lease ask before you place a bid.
