1967 MODEL YEAR. MADE IN INDIA BY IDEAL JAWA. ENGINE, RAKE, RANSMISSION IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ENGINE HAS BEEN REBUILT, ND THE BIKE HAS DONE UNDER 500 KM SINCE REBUILD. SLIGHT DING ON PLATE NEAR GRAB HANDLE UNDER THE SEAT. THE TAIL LIGHT CURRENTLY IN THE PICTURE IS OF A LATER MODEL. BIKE WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH THE CORRECT TAIL LIGHT FITTED ON THE '62 MODEL. TYRES GOOD.

Jawa motorcycles were introduced inIndiain 1960 and they have a cult following to this present day. Production was carried out directly inIndiaby Ideal Jawa India Ltd based out ofMysore. The Jawa 353/04 designated as 'A' Type, ezdi 250 'B' Type, awa 350 type 634 Twin and Yezdi 250 Monarch models are driven to this day in various parts of the country. Jawa and Yezdi bikes, specially the ones with fuel tank padding and ignition systems on the fuel tank are now collectors’ items.

Ideal Jawa (India) Ltdwas an Indian motorcycle company based inMysore, nd sold licensedJAWAandCZ motorcycles beginning in 1960 under the brand nameJawaand laterYezdi. The catchphrase for the bikes sold by the firm was "Forever bike forever value".

Sadly, he company stopped production in 1996, hen Japanese models were introduced inIndia, ith lesser engine capacities, nd better fuel economy.

Added to that, abour trouble contributed to thecompany's collapse, nd increasing levels of pollution control norms which were making thetwo strokebikes that the company produced obsolete.

Ideal Jawa also exported many of the above models to over 61 countries around the world includingEgypt,Sri Lanka,Turkey,Guatemala,Venezuelaand others.
