1963 Maicoletta Scooter with 1957 parts bike

Cleaning out my barn--Thought I'd be restoring this oldGerman-made beauty "someday" and cruising around town on it, utinstead, 'm passing thisunusually well-preserved scooter on to more energetic hands... It would make a perfect platform for a restoration project-especially with the included parts bike. Unfortunately, fter owning it for decades, omehow I have lost the keys to it, o I cannot open the glove box to show the I.D. plate. It has not been running for quite a few years, ut did run at one time during my ownership of it. If you love scooters, ven if you're an Italian scooter fan (Lambretta, r Vespa or Piaggio)--consider this one too--It could end up being the "Cadillac" of your collection!

Some misc. facts about it:

I have a clean title for it, /p>

Rear tire has a slow leak, /p>

Center stand works fine, /p>

Seat is in very nice shape,

Steeringis NOT sloppy and seems to have good bearings and springs, /p>

Front brake works well, nbsp;

no battery and am unsure about any of the electrics--the wiring appears to be nicely intact.

PLEASE--you all can see that this is an old scooter--and the parts bike is even older--there are multiple things that will need to be done in order to get it into safe, unnable shape, o PLEASE don't expect it to be pristine--it's not better than what the pictures indicate. Feel free to ask questions about it, ut I may or may not know the answer as I'm not exactly an expert with this particular model.
