1918 NEW IMPERIAL 1000cc Twin, Sidecar

This 1918 NEW IMPERIAL is the extremely rare 1000 cc Twin, HP version, owered by a JAP engine. Almost 100 years old, his New Imperial is in wonderful condition and runs like it should. This is an older restoration, o this bike does have a nice patina, ut it may also have a few minor dings or scratches. However, here is nothing that would require repair. As a matter of fact newer paint would make this sidecar rig less desirable. The wood trim on the side car is in excellent shape, nd the entire rig has a fabulous presence that would make it a highlight in any collection!

The motorcycle is fully functional and can be ridden immediately without any work or servicing required.

This New Imperial was built to be delivered to the Russian Army. With the end of World War I in 1918, he ordered was cancelled, nd the motorcycle was sent to Florence, taly, here it was used as a taxi. This bike was in a private collection of arenowned collector in the Tuscany for the last 15-20 years.

The complete motorcycle with sidecar has ASI certification (Italian Association for historical cars & motorcycles) as being in perfect and original condition, s well as being a motorcycle of historical relevance. Documentation is available andwill be included.

The motorcycle was shipped to the U.S. to be sold. We reserve the right to end the auction early As this motorcycle is also advertised locally.
