It’s a wonderful and clean example of motorcycles of that era. The engine size is 350cc . The motorcycle runs. goes through the gears properly. brakes work and electrical/gauge functions are in order. Speedometer and tailight were tested with no response. there is very low output voltage from the generator to battery. The bike leaks a few drops of oil after running . and a bit of gas due to possible carb issues. wouldn’t hurt to seal up a few areas (here and there!). but. should anything else be expected of a 75 year old British motorcycle! Would be a great display motorcycle if you choose not to ride it. I often see listings that state “own a piece of motorcycle history”. This one offers motorcycle history. historical significance and an opportunity to share your (war?) story that matches the bike and/or its era! In any event. it’s a great find. certainly don’t see these everyday. and. at a very reasonable investment!
