As you can see in the pictures this bike is in very nice condition for its age.32,016 is low miles for a 1200 Bandit.

I have had this bike inside my shop (Sam's Cycle Service Inc.) for over a year. It was stored inside for 2 years before I owned it.Early August 2015 I revived it from storage.This is what I did:Checked the engine compression and it was real good.1. Cleaned out the gas tank. There was no rust in the tank but had some sticky fuel on the bottom.I used a degreaser with very hot water to clean it out and then rinsed it out with acetone.
2. I replaced the petcock and the fuel sending unit (float for gas gauge with new OEM parts.I even bought the OEM fuel hose and clamps for the fuel delivery.
3. I used our state of the art 10 gallon Ultrasonic carburetor cleaner tank to clean out the carburetors.
4. Took the carburetors all the way down and rebuilt them using all new OEM parts.I used the vacuum gauges to sync the idle and set the pilots.
5. Did a full inspection and tune and service changing all the fluids.I found no leaks of any kind.No engine noises and no smoke.All the lights and gauges work well.The fork seals look good and the tires are close to new.
6. Replaced the battery with a quality Yuasa.
7. Test rode the bike down the freeway and a long back road for 42 miles.I got it up to 110 mph twice and was very impressed with the brute power, mooth shifting and stable feel.With the engine nice and warm I was impressed with how easily it would shift from 1st to neutral while idling at a stop light.This indicates that the clutch is in very good condition with no dragging and no slipping.
8. Did a nice wash and light polish.
The only minor complaint I have is the small scratches in the paint.The seat is perfect and there is no rust anywhere on this bike.
Suzuki has done a great job with the evolution of the inline 4 cylinder.They started back in the 1970's with the bullet proof GS1000 which was seen on many drag race tracks throughout the 1980'sEven though this 1200 Bandit is 14 years old it is a time tested solid machine. This bike needs nothing. It is ready to ride cross country.
TITLEI am licensed and bonded with the California DMV. I am also a licensed vehicle verifier. If you are in California then I will also collect the sales tax of 8% plus $120.00 registration fee plus a document preparation charge of $65.00. I will give you a temporary registration permit on the spot and your new registration will come to you in the mail. You will not stand in line at the DMV and there will be no surprises. If you are outside of California and you ship by common carrier then you will pay only the purchase price and I will hand you or mail you the paperwork.I must have a copy of the shipping contract from the driver when picked up or a bill of lading.Without proof of shipment via common carrier I would still need to collect the 8% sales tax.

No charge to deliver to a local shipper or your home if less than 25 miles. For a fee I may also be willing to deliver if less than 150 miles each way. I will deliver to San Diego area or Los Angeles area for $175.00 paid in advance.
Most shipping services do not require crating and many specialize in motorcycle transportation and do not require crating.Most of them quote a fair door to door price.If not I can deliver to your shipping company if arranged and paid in advance.
