1977 Suzuki GT550 NO TITLE 845 miles

This bike belonged to a cousin of mine through marriage. He had passed away in 1982 and the bike has been in a barn ever since. When his dad died in 1997 I helped my aunt clean out his property and she let us keep the bike and I had it in the barn since then. We do not know where the title is so I am not sure what that process would be to get one. The bike is in rough shape in my opinion, as tank is rusted through on the bottom. Surface rust on a lot of the chrome. It does turn over with the kick start and also with the battery starter but there is no spark, robably needs new points. The license plate most recent sticker was from 1982. The odometer states only 845 miles which surprises me from looking at the bike's current condition.

The speedometer may have been replaced at some time in its early life. I was told it should have a brown face and not the blue faced speedometer which would explain the very low milage. The license plate on it expired in 1982 and I doubt it was rode after that. The motor serial number is 74762 which would make it a correct original engine number for the bike.
