1972 TRIUMPH T150V 1000cc JACK WILSON BIG D CYCLE SPECIAL

This 1000cc stroker Triumph was built by Jack Wilson. This bike has matching motor and frame numbers. there is a clear Texas title for this motorcycle. We acquired this bike a few years ago and parked it in our showroom. We’ve never done anything with it until today. The previous owner purchased the bike from a similar scenario where it had been parked inside for a long time. This motorcycle will surely need proper sorting. but it does start and run. We drained the sump. replaced the motor oil. cleaned the idle circuits in the carburetors. and attached a jumper battery. There is a link to a youtube video of the bike running below. As mentioned we only got the bike running. it will need attention before any attempt is made to ride it. This bike was drag raced back in the day. so surely it has hotrod goodies inside the motor. It sounds awesome. It is equipped with a Big D Cycle three into one exhaust system. These pipes are hard to find. people still call us about them and they have not been made in over thirty years. The ignition uses a distributor. so two of the coils are unhooked. This is a really neat bike. it needs the right person to fix it up and take care of it. When properly sorted with better brakes. new tires. and shocks this thing is probably scary fast. Please note that there are struts installed instead of shocks.
