1968 Triumph Trophy 650 TR6C

OK everyone - there was a lot of interest for the original listing (128 watchers. numerous phone calls) but surprisingly only 3 bids ??? So I decided to relist with this auction format to see to confirm buyer interest at this time. My benchmark on pricing is based on the last one I saw listed here about 6 months ago reached $15. 00 'reserve not met' (and did not have original seat or tires). Bike is an East Coast model and was built 15-Nov 1967 as a 68 'Trophy Competition' model. Photos should speak to the quality of the restoration. but here are a few highlights:* original Dunlop rims (rechromed) with CAD plated spokes. * original Dunlop Trials Universal tires (front is NOS but rear is part worn)* original seat (slight mark in vinyl on left side. but it is an original)* rebuilt speedo (now shows 4 miles)* cloth covered repro harness* original Lucas electrics (currecntly a repop headlamp switch). rechromed Lucas headlamp shell. Lucas horn. brake switch. tank reflectors* original Reynold chain (just about worn out !)* rebuilt motor from the ground up with +0. 060" rebore and pistons* powder coated frame with CAD plated hardware * new repro hi-level exhaust* correct factory decals sealed in under clearDuring the restoration I tried to use every original/period part possible to create a museum quality piece.
