1968 Triumph Trophy Sports TR6R. Numbers matching. The bike has 234 easy neighborhood miles on it since it's complete restoration. It has a clear Florida Title. This bike has been torn down to individual nuts and bolts. New bearings in the wheels. The spokes were also zinc plated to replicate the original look with new nickel plated spoke nipples. The engine has been completely rebuilt with all new bearings . new valves. and new . 002 oversize pistons and rings. Cylinders bored to . 002 oversize ensures no smoke. Installed a new Amal Carburetor exactly like original with same serial number with the updated pilot jet cleanout screw. New shock absorbers in the rear and a completely rebuilt steering head and fork assembly in the front. New chrome on original headlamp and tank emblems. Original Lucas headlamp and lens. Original Lucas tail lamp. Original 4 gallon gas tank. I modified the electrical system by installing a Boyer electronic ignition and a new Tympanium electronic regulator charging system. I kept the Zenor Diode up front for looks. She runs smoothly at all RPMs going through all the gears with no backfiring on deceleration. Setting the timing on the Boyer is a breeze. It has the original wiring harness re-wrapped with new covering. I wanted to preserve the original wiring which was in good shape and had the insulated correct Lucar connectors. Any of the wiring that was chafing or needed repair was replaced and soldered with new same size wire and covered in shrink tubing. The 1968 colors are Riviera Blue and Silver. It has been painted in a base coat clear coat system. All new rubber throughout. All new steering handlebar eyelet washers and rubbers. Re-chromed and original brake and clutch controls with NOS correct rubber handle grips. Original Smiths Speedometer and Tachometer and amp meter refurbished and set to zero with new glass and rims.
