1970 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE

1970 Triumph Bonneville with matching numbers. Case halves are also matching. This bike has a clear Texas title. and runs. Makes around 140lbs on each cylinder. Makes good oil pressure as well. Around 60lbs at idle and 80lbs with throttle. We purchased this bike a couple of years ago in a large buy. It had been parked in a west Texas barn for years. We never did anything with it other than obtain a clear Texas title in our name. Recently we made it ready for sale on eBay as a rolling and running restoration project. We discovered the reason it was parked was because the nut on the main shaft had come loose on the gearbox side. After fixing that we drained and replaced the oil. cleaned the carburetors. checked the timing. and started it. There is a link to a YouTube video of this bike running below. The pictured air cleaner parts and points cover are included. it is missing the correct type dual horns. The inside of the tank is not bad a tall. it will clean up nice. As mention this bike is a project. In our opinion it needs a full on restoration/rebuild down to the sludge trap in the crankshaft.
