Description

This will be the last listing on this bike. if it does not get a bid I will be accepting an offer that was made to me locallyl don't let her get away. Thank youThis is a nice 1966 classic Triumph Motorcycle. It has matching numbers on the frame and engine "T100R H47247". NADA Guide Value link nadaguides. com According to http://ianchadwick. com I have the following information: 1966 Tiger 500 model T100R. Also called the "Daytona" and "Grand Prix". Condition of bike:In running condition. Last time on road was 2009. Fresh plugs. wires and fuel lines with inline filters. Starts usually within 1-3 kicks - pretty reliable but can have it's moments . This is not a mint nor show room condition bike. This is a working bike. The speedometer shows 4. 01 miles and I do not know if its accurate. It is in good working condition and perfect for you to make it the way you would want it. Although I do not think it will need anything special to get it road ready. I am not a mechanic or inspector so i would recommend looking at it yourself or have a mechanic do it. I am available anytime so you can view it prior to your purchase. just call me at 585-967-4448 - Ray. Also. this bike is being listed locally and I will reserve the right to end the auction if it sells. What I have noticed: Needs two exhaust brackets or repair to it. They are connected by engine and rear bracket bypassing center brackets (minor in my opinion). The Amps meter does not work. Leaks a little oil under left side jug Everything else operates as it should. lights. horn. switches etc. Tires look good. Cables function but look old. Rear brakes work fine. front may need adjustments. May need some tinkering to make it betterRuns Good. watch videoIt is a right shift and I am used to a left shift so I seem a little awkward riding it in the video I'm selling it "as is". I think it is a great bike for the money. It is in good running used condition. These bikes are getting difficult to find and they make a great investment because it will certainly go up in value. It has a rat rod type appeal with a homemade paint job. not a pro finish but clean and neat. A great candidate to re-store or ride as is. I will gladly help with shipping at buyers expense and may help with delivery within 100 miles or so for a fee and after full payment is received. Any questions. feel free to ask. I have a clean. nbsp;transferable NYS registration in my name. I require a $200 nonrefundable deposit at auctions end and the rest within 5 days by certified check or money order. The bike can be picked up or we can make arrangements only after payment has cleared. Any questions? please feel free to ask. Just to save us some time - I am not a Triumph expert. I am not a mechanic. I do not know the long history of the bike. But I will gladly look. describe. send more pics. and tell you what I know.
