This is a numbers matching Triumph T100R Daytona. With a Clear Ohio Tittle Paint is by Don Hutchinson Triumph. The engine has been restored to factory specs. There are no oil leaks !! The bike rides and runs as it did in 1967. starts on the second kick cold and the first kick when it's warm. as these bikes had no choke installed from the factory. The bike has a new Lucas wiring harness. new ignition switch. new Boyer electronic ignition. 6v coils. new spark plug leads and new spark plugs. nbsp;new Trugel battery. Tympanium rectifier. new Lucas Ammeter. new Wassell rotor and stator. Authentic Lucas 6H 12volt horn. Totally new clutch with all new parts. New Amal 626 concentric Premium carburetors. covers and fill plugs are polished. I know someone is going to say it should have Monobloc Carbs. NOT SO. Triumph started installing concentric carbs in late '67 production. also Triumph had a deal with people who bought a Daytona in '67 with Monoblocs. they could take their bike to the dealer in early '68 and they would switch the Monoblocs for their new design Concentric carbs. This is a documented service. ALSO black seat covers were popular here in the United States where as the Grey top seat covers were popular in England. . FUN FACT only 3500 '67 Daytonas were ever produced. so that makes this bike pretty rare. The forks are rebuilt with new Gators and top nuts. new Ferodo brakes front and rear. new Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires front and rear. Beautiful British Dunlop rims with stainless steel spokes. new wheel bearings. Tank is clean inside with new petcocks. ( not the cheap Tiawan ones ). Tach and Speedo were sent out for complete restoration with authentic Smiths parts. new Smiths speedo cable and Tach cable. New Throttle cables and the bike has ALL new rubber components. Also has a new British Triumph seat. This is NOT a Tiawan Triumph. I went to great lengths and expense to buy British parts. although Wassell is Aisian. but they are quality parts. not the cheap stuff you find when you look. Please NOTE. the frame is the way I found it. looked good to me. I liked the patina. nbsp; There is no rust anywhere on this bike. or corrorsion. or pitted chrome. if it was it was replaced or re chromed. Most all of the fasteners have been replaced also.
