1977 Triumph Silver Jubilee Bonneville #161

1977 Triumph Silver Jubilee Bonneville. Unrestored and very original. I am the third owner of this bike since new. I have the original silver jubilee certificate and owners manual for the bike. This bike is production # 161 . A boyer ignition was installed by the previous owner. but I have the original points and breaker plate. Everything is original to the bike except the following. Tires and tubes. gell battery} stainless brake master cylinders front and back. spark plugs. All components work. The bike has been stored indoors in heated and cooled enviroments all of its life and has never seen bad weather. There are a couple of scratches on the fuel tank top right and a chip on the top of front fender. No dents . Chrome is original and in very good condition. The bike starts on the first kick and runs and rides like a brand new bike. This bike would make a great collectors piece or a reliable rider if you chose to do so. It has never been taken apart except for the tires being changed. No oil leaks. Metal wire and cable straps are still in place from factory. The bike has the usual issues with paint on the rims and tank badges. I could not bring myself to repair those issues do to the originality of the machine. All oils and fluids were changed in the fall of 2014. There are no repairs to be made to this bike it is ready to ride or display.
