bILL KNO3WS THIS BIKE VEWRY WELL....ANY COLLECTOR WANTING FACTUAL, TRAIGHT INFO. ON THIS BIKE WILL ENJOY TALKING WITH BILL....tHE ADVANTAGES OF BUYING A VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE FROM A TRIUMPH, NGLISH BIKE M34ECHANIC WITH PASSION FOR BIKES BECOMES A BIG UPSIDE....IF YOU KNOW ABOUT THESE, OU SEE CHERRY ONES, ND THEIR BEAUTIFUL....SOME GUY HAS SPENT MORE MONEY ON THE RESTORATION THAN THE BIKE IS WORTH.....THIS ONE NEEDED NO ATTENTION, O TUNEUP, O PAINTWORK, ECHROMING, DDING 'AFTER MARKET' PARTS OUT THE WAH-ZOO, ONE OF THAT NEEDED...I SPOTTED A COUPLE TINY PAINT CHIPS...I FOUND WHERE THE 40 YEAR OLD BIKE HAD SOME RUST AROUND SOME BOLT HEADS OR NUTS....I SAW (patina) on the bike-holy heck, hat'ds up with that....restored bikes have no patina, hey are gleastening like an iscicle...but the bike, hat has flaws, he one that isn't perfect....really is (why do i say that) an 'honest rider'....that comes from the demeanor of the owner....he rides his motorcycle...more time is torqueing down the twisty roads of the day and never looking back.....rechroming, ebuilds, aintwork, ogos and stripes and finding the correct trim would kill some people, other a bunch more...but, ow, ere comes a man who pampers his bike, aintenance and cosmetic and has the beautiful/ and correct thought that a nice bike is to be ridden...this man rode this bike, ut treated 'her' so good she has never grown old (whish we could expect that of our wifes-the not growing old,part.....do damamged,restored her...we had new bike, e now have 37 year old bike in esquisite, rigional condition....no belly cuts, rest augmentation or botox here (can you see i don't care for restored bikes...i like the ooccasitional knick, ust on tops and bottoms of screws,nuts and bolts....you know whAT THESE ARE, OU'VE SEEN THESE TRIUMPHS TIME AND AGAIN....THREY GO LOW WHEN BEATEN AND NEED A RESTO, HEN THEIR 'TRAILER QUEENS'....HERES AN HONEST BIKE, S I SAID....DOESN'T NEED RESTORED BECAUSE ITS OWNER LOVED HIS BIKE AND TOOK CARE OF IT LIKE HE WOULD HIS BABY DAUGHTER/ GENTLE AND FIRM.....SEE WHAT GOOD LIVIN AND GOOD WRENCHIN' HAS TURNED UP IN LITTLE LUTHERSBURG,PA....IT HAS SURVIVED QUITE WELL! yOU LIKE THIS MODEL/ THEN THIS IS AS CLOSE TO NEW YOU GET AFTER BEEN RIDDEN FOR 30 SOME YEARS.....imho, 'D BUY IT IF I COULD SELL MY WIFE, UT SHE WOULDN'T BRING A $BUCK THREE NINETY EIGHT!...THIS BIKE WILL BRING 12K
