IMPORTANT: This is a1962 Triumph T120R that underwent a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration.
Numbers matching machine. VIN D177xx. Zero road miles.
ENGINE: Engine disassembled, ases degreased & glass bead blasted, ilways cleaned, ludge trap cleaned, ew bearings (engine drive bearings, od bearings), ew standard bore cylinder, ew Hepolite 9:1 pistons, ew rings.
- Cylinder head glass bead blasted, nd rebuilt to factory specs including new valves, ew valve guides (phosphor bronze), ew springs.
- Correct new Amal Monobloc 376 carbs fitted. Correct fuel lines.
- Oil feed and return are NOS herringbone. New rocker feed line with new hardware.
- Correct exhaust pipes. Correct Made in Englandmufflers.
- Correct new inspection caps Made in England.
-Correct pushrod tubes with correct seals and retaining rings.
- During assembly all engine and transmissionparts were pre-lubed with engine assembly lube. The sump has a small amount of oil and the oil tank has oil. A small amount of engine oil was added to each cylinder.The engine is turned over occasionally.
TRANSMISSION / DRIVETRAIN: Gearbox rebuilt. All moving parts checked. Bush, hrust washers, prings replaced.
- New chrome kickstart lever and gearchange lever.
- New clutch basket and bonded plates.
- New drive chain.
SUSPENSION:Restored shocks with correct shrouds.
-Swingarm rebuilt, ubed, e-cad end caps.
- Rechromed Dunlop wheels (18" rear, 9" front). Built up with stainless spokes, ew inner tubes and correct profile tires.
- Wheel assembly balanced - front and rear.
- New correct Made in UK seat.
BRAKES - New shoes, ll new cables, e-cad adjusters.
GAUGES: Correct Smiths Chronometric instruments rebuilt by Nissonger. SC5301/26 speedometer and RC1307 tachometer. Correct cables and connectors.
ELECTRICAL: New correct cloth wiring harness.
- Correct horn installed.
- Correct new headlamp fitted with genuine Lucas lens. New genuine Lucas ammeter.
- Genuine Lucas tail lamp.
- Battery will need to be installed.
FUEL TANK: Correct, uperb condition fuel tank. Flame and silver tank with gold stripes. New center strip and hardware. Rechromed badges (grid needs paint) and parcel grid. New fuel taps. New filler cap.
COSMETICS: - Black parts powdercoated - except shock bodies, orn. Many chrome parts re-plated or replaced with correct factory parts.
- Silver painted fenders with flame stripes. Black oil tank and toolbox & cover.
- All hardware either correct new cadmium plated, r original hardware re-plated. Some stainless hardware where factory specs not specified.
- Correct centerstand and sidestand installed both with correct new springs and hardware.
- New correct Made in UK Chainguard installed.
- All rubber parts have been replaced with factory-correct footpegs, earchange and kickstart rubber. New Dunlop K70 front and rear tires.
- No decals installed – will be installed at auction close.
OTHER: Exhaustive list of other parts replaced. Many original parts (NOS) may have used. Parts supplied by Tri-Cor, alridge Motors, ritish Only, nd Rabers.
NOTES: Bill of sale only. Located in the Bay Area, A between San Francisco and San Jose, his motorcycle was restored in 2007 and has been sitting in the owner's family room since work was completed.
IMPORTANT: This is a 53 year-old vintage bike that deserves to be preserved by a mature collector who understandswhat service & maintenance are required to own a classic bike of this vintage.
Will need to have battery and fluids installed, op end pre-lubed, dle set, nd timing set. The new owner will have the pleasure of dialing in the carbs, ine tuning the ignition, nd making other necessary adjustments.
I will be as helpful as possible, ut I cannot serve as a full service shop from afar.
