Description

I bought the bike in 2004 with 3500 miles on it and after a few hundred miles the speedo quit working so I had it rebuilt. They set it back to zero and the bike now shows 1800 miles on it so total miles on bike are around 5700 miles. The main case that has Triumph stamps on it does not have a serial #I asked the guys at Raber's Triumph shop in San Jose Ca about this and the owner of the shop which I bought my first Triumph from in 1977 told me if the case halve's fit well together which they do " that they have both been replaced. So at some point the engine spun a main bearing and was completely rebuilt with a new case. This makes sense to me since I have owned and ridden many Triumphs and this one does not feel like it has emission cams in it as it runs super strong. The engine oil and gearbox fluid have just been changed. The valves have just been adjusted, timing set, ith new spark plugs.Carbs were rebuilt a few months back with 190 jets and steel throttle sliders.Rotors are in good shape, key switch was just replaced with a factory lucas ignition switch.Clutch is a brand new LP Williams race clutch and made a huge difference.Paint on tank is original with air brushed Jethro Tull guy "Too old to Rock "N" Roll "Too young to Die" on it.and was clear coated. That cost 2500.00 and looks very professionally done.I have original fenders, tail light, rack, turn signals and shocks. It can be put back to stock very easily.Original wiring harness has never been cut and the rest of the bike is very original and unrestored ! Cables are original and operate correctly but speedo jumps a little once in a while and might be a dirty cable.Avon tire are nine years old with about 800 miles on them and are in good condition, all chrome is in very nice condition.Have extra shorty pipes if you like load.I had this bike in storage for over 7 years and it would be next to impossible to find a non restored Triumph in this condition or even close! The bike is beautiful and runslike a top and everyone wants to take a picture on it :) The pictures speak for themselves and is being sold to finance a new business venture. The new owner of this bike will be very happy and you will have a one of a kind Triumph .Rabers Triumph in San Jose has factory stamps if you want serial numbers to match.I have listed everything I can think of but if you have a question I will try to answer.Thank You and happy bidding !!
