1979 Triumph Bonneville 750 Special

Not many clean original Bonnevilles this straight. Other than fairing and luggage rack. it appears to be original. Starts right up. idles great. shifts through gears. The chrome fenders and sheet metal look excellent. Total original 2 into 1 exhaust system in excellent shape. Has upgraded optional original aluminum alloy wheels. Comes with fairing and fiberglass luggage bags with Triumph metal insignia on them. Fairing is in fantastic shape and easy to remove and new headlight available on ebay. Manufactured in world famous Meridan. England. Matching frame and engine serial number. Manufactured in Feb 1979. Clear Wisconsin title. registered with license until April 30. 2016 This Triumph has obviously been stored correctly and cared for. Low mileage. compare this bike to a 79 Bonneville currently on Ebay and this bike is much cleaner. A few minors dings. not dents in gas tank. otherwise paint looks outstanding. Three very minor seat flaws. but still looks great. Tread on tires looks good. but some cracking on sidewalls. Sprocket might need replacing. needs new hand grips and mirrors. all available on Ebay. With or without fairing. you will be very proud to drive this head-turning. original beauty. This Triumph has been owned by my friend since 2002. I have not done any mechanical work on it other than drain carb and put in new spark plugs. Gas tank looks clean. It may need minor adjustments. tune-up and normal mechanical upkeep.
