This bike is original (as far as I can tell) and in fabulous condition. I purchased it from the first owner in Rochester New York. He was in his 70's and his son was selling it on his behalf. I had the bike shipped to my home in Westchester New York and then registered it for the road with a new license plate.
I bought it in January 2012 and it has been garaged and covered ever since. I have rode it a little (about 1,000 miles in 2 1/2 years). I had a new water pump installed in 2013 andasitwas smoking from the middlecylinder, ylinder head rebuilt (pistons, ings and values)by The Classic Motorcycle Co, T. I have kept all the original parts and receipts to retain its provenance.
It starts and runs (with a little coaxing from cold; tickle all three carbs before getting it to TDC and it kicks into life with a quarter throttle).
This is a stellar example of an early 70's legend.
