Description

1975 Triumph Trident Model T-160. This was the last year for the Trident. Matching Numbers Bike. Frame: CK02628 and engine is CK02628 Totally Original in every detail. This bike is un-restored and is a 40 year old vintage time capsule. It has been kept indoors for it's entire life. Original paint. everything. The bike is in excellent condition. Low original miles of 10. 916. There is no rust anywhere on this motorcycle. The frame is very very nice with no pitting or rust and the chrome is second to none in my professional opinion. The paint is original. It has some fading on the top of the tank as well as some scratches there which you can see in the pictures. The tank is dent free as are the steel side covers. Original badges and decals are all still on the bike. Even the Triumph emblems on the side covers are very clean and clear. The mufflers are rust free as well. I have the clear title to this motorcycle in my possession. This Trident T-160 is the only Trident to have both kick starter and electric starter. The T-160 Trident also is the only one with a left foot shift. The bike has a 5-speed transmission. These bikes are pretty rare and Triumph didn't make a whole lot of these. This particular bike has been in heated storage for 2 years. The bike was parked there and was a great running bike when parked. All electronics work and the engine is free and I have started the bike and it sounds as it should. You probably should do a tune up I guess. after she has sat but she seems real real nice. The front fender has a small ding on top but I have a new fender for it. The seat is the original seat and it has a small crack at the back left corner. however. I have a new Triumph seat cover for the bike. I also have new fork ears. headlight and other small little things that were purchased NOS to make it perfect. these items will be included to the winning bidder. Thanks for your interest. I have a fair Reserve on the bike and it will be sold to the highest bidder. I appreciate your interest in my Triumph and best wishes to all bidders. ALSO: REMEMBER. YOU CLICK ON A PICTURE. THEN.
