1972 Triumph Daytona 500 cc

My Triumph starts on the first or second kick and runs great! I'd be glad to send videos of it starting and running to bidders (bidders only).This is a numbersmatching bike. I have owned this bike for the last 10 years approximately. I bought it here oneBayfrom a gentleman in Rochester, Y. He had it garaged for the previous 13 years and didn't use much so it needed some mechanical work. Once I received it I took it to the best mechanic of British bikes in town and he has been the only mechanic of the bike since then. Most of the below listed upgrades were done to it then and it's been mainly maintenance since then. I have ridden the bike on weekends and only short distances at a time. When I don't take it out (it rains a lot in Miami), make sure I start it and warm it up a little. I've changed the oils often and have used only the best on her. I've kept most of the parts that have been replaced (originals I assume) and many are still in good condition and could be reused. For the new parts I've always bought the best availableand have most if not all the receipts.Here are some of the upgrades: Change from points to electronic system, ew clutch, ew valves and guides, ew spark plug cables, ew coils, ewcarburetors, ncrease of transmission ratio to make it quicker (larger front), ew brake pads, rand new tires, ew battery, ew fork boots. It is mechanically perfect, ith a small investment on detailing this bike, his will could be a show bike.
