1972 Triumph Daytona 500 T110R

This eBay listing is for a 1972 Triumph Daytona 500. She starts right up. and runs well and the exhaust is clear. As with any British bike of the era. she surely drips oil. The engine has been professionally rebuilt less then 500 miles ago. with all new gaskets and seals. The cylinders were honed. new piston rings. and the valves lapped. Engine has 21. 13 original miles. The inside of tank was chemically cleaned and sealed. The outside was resprayed with British Racing Green. It has also had a thorough tune up as of two weeks ago. The carbs. which have been replaced with Mikuni VM30s were taken off and cleaned. all of the oil has been changed and the clutch adjusted. and spark plugs were replaced and the timing was adjusted. Along with the Mikuni's. I installed the Emgo exhaust tips in order to achieve high performance. At some point. the tachometer has been replaced. Battery is less then a year old. The Only thing this bike needs is a new head light bulb. Otherwise. this bike is ready to go. I've put a vast amount of money into this bike. because I think it deserved it. She was fun while she lasted. but i'm getting on a ship in May for a few months. and someone else should be able to enjoy her as I did. Previous to my ownership. the blinkers were removed. I never minded them being gone. so I never replaced them. This sale will be local pick up only unless we agree on shipment. which the buyer will be responsible for.
