Recently finished construction of a 1979 Triumph Bobberlike would have been builtfollowing WWII. Frame is a hard tail that is stretched 6" and dropped 2 1/2" Front end is a Sportster The engine is a 650cc that has been gone thru with new crank bearings, ludge tube cleaned, alves ground and head resurfaced. New Std. Rod bearings bored and honed and fitted with new pistons and USA made rings and seals. Two 32mm Mikuni carburetor's. Electronic ignition. Two into one exhaust. Transmission is a four speed new lay shaft bearings and new seals. Engine and Transmission were assembled with USA made gaskets and seals. Four Fuses protect the electrical system. New tires and tubes. Sprockets and chain are new. Storage container under seat is a 41mm Mortar round canister. Headlight is off of a Bycrus Erierock quarry crane.Small ammo pouch is behind the headlight for documents or what ever. An Indiana Jones type WWII gas mask can also be attached tothe bike with EZ on EZ off hair pins.New fuel tank withsix pack rack and newbadges. Badges fit OK butnot great. Frame and engine coversare painted with Hot Rod Flatz Urethane. Wheels are jet black DuPont base coat cleat coat. Tank and fenders are DuPont base coat clear coat as well. Pin stripping is plastic.Some pictures show a binocular for a rear tail-brake light this has been changed to a WWII jeep black out light converted to red lens. No turn signals or speedometer. Bike is kick start and starts so well you mom could start it. . Bike has won best custom bike in show.
