Custom Triumph Thunderbird 900 classic Hinkley triple cafe racer 1998

Sadly, 'm selling one of the best bikes I have ever owned. If you've never ridden a Triumph triple you are in for a treat. This bike was made in England unlike the more modern Triumphs, nd it shows in the craftsmanship. It has waaay more grunt than the modern Triumph twins like the Bonneville or Thruxton. Don't be fooled by the cc's - this bike will leave those twins in the dust.
This Thunderbird is in great condition for an 18 year old bike. It has been customized in a variety of ways, one of which effect the bulletproof engine. The cosmetic improvements are 90% complete (mostly, he rear fender still needs good paint). The rear sub-frame has been shortened and complimented by a brand new custom made leather seat. New turn signals, ables, uel lines. Carbs fully rebuilt. A new Pingel petcock is a vast improvement for fuel delivery. The adjustable clip-on handlebars are beautiful Italian made from Tarozzi. Headlight mounts are LSL. The big bulky gauges have been replaced by an elegant Acewell digital speedometer. All these upgrades were made with the best parts around as I never intended to sell the bike. This is a nearly 20 year old bike so yes it has wear and scratches. Not perfect. It will need a new rear tire in the next 3000 miles. Front tire is new.
This bike has always lived in California and was always garaged. Current California registration is good until Feb 2016.
All the goodies aside, hat really makes this bike special is the engine. It will put a smile on your face, uaranteed.
