Cliff at Ace Classics in London England found this bike for me at the Nightingale Museum in Kent England in 2010. I received it in 2011 and shipped it to the renowned Terry Clark in Gig Harbor Washington to be totally restored to Concours De'Elegance standards. Every nut and bolt was replaced or restored in the engine and motorcycle itself. I've had it to 3 Concours and won 1, ot 2nd in another behind the top 1932 Vincent Motorcycle in the world and told it was over restored at the last. This bike will start on 1st kick and rides perfect at 50 mph. It now has 8 miles on it. It is Amaranth Red, ith hand painted gold pin stripes on tank, enders and wheels. This bike was only produced for 2 years because the Triumph factory wasbombed in 1940 and all the records and bikes were destroyed. The one piece iron cylinder was secured with 6studs in the earliest made bikes, but they felt this might lead to a weakness so they changed it to 8 studs. This bike has the 6 stud cylinder which makes it one of the first produce, ut since the factory was completely destroyed there is no paperwork to tell the build date. It does have the correct serial numbers on themotor and frame and I do have a vintage license title and plate for the U.S.
Before the restoration the bike had unknown mileage. Since the restoration the bike has had less than 10 miles on it. I have always transported in an enclosed trailer to Concours events.
