1975 Yamaha YZ 80 B AHRMA

You are bidding on a survivor YZ 80. This a NO RESERVE Auction! In 1975 if you were an aspiring mini racer this was the hot ticket. Unless you had a spare 1000.00 to spend on upgrading an XR 75, ou wanted to be on a YZ 80 if you wanted to win.
This bike is matching numbers, nd you can see the serial number in the pictures.
I just rode the bike today and it started easily and ran strong. It will need a good carb cleaning and some fresh gas. Right now this bike is pre-mix only, s the injection has been disconnected. This is a fast little bike and should be checked over before riding and distance. As you know if you raced one of these it is a serious racer and was quite fast for the era.

The tank has a couple of small dings/dents that I tried to point out in the images. Also the kickstart lever has been welded to the kickstart shaft. Other than that it is in decent condition, great base for a full off restoration. As you can see the seat cover and the front fender are not original. The bike might need a steering head bearing. Forgot to mention that I can store this bike for up to three weeks in a secure garage, hile you make arrangements with your shipper. I can also build a pallet for the bike for $100 if necessary.
