1972 Yamaha DS7 Cafe Racer NO RESERVE!

1972 Yamaha DS7 250cc Two-Stroke Cafe Racer. The Yamaha is black with gold stripes, eadlight ring, nd Yamaha emblems. This bike is a blast!! New tires, ewer battery, afe tail section. Needs nothing to ride, tarts on the first kick! Clean and clear Indiana title. Original speedometer/odometer was taken off when the bike was rebuilt, still have it with the bike. It had about 1300 miles when the bike was rebuilt and has only been ridden a few hundred miles since then. Also comes with rear sets if you want more of a sport bike sitting position. The DG Expansion Chambers were new and also installed during the rebuild. It also has heads off of an RD250 which were slightly different and gives it a little more power. The bike is not a brand new/perfect bike, ut I didn't want it to be and it is in very good/presentable condition. It could be ridden everyday and is extremely reliable. There is one very small repairable crack in the fiberglass tail section right next to the seat, t is not very noticeable at all and is shown in the photos. The paint on the motor is also a little worn as you can see in the photos. The bike does not have oil injection so you have to premix your fuel.
I did not plan on selling this bike. This has been my favorite motorcycle I've ever owned. It is reliable, uick, ifferent, asy/cheap to maintain, nd bad ass! There is a good chance that I am moving out of state for a promotion soon so I am selling some of my toys.
The Yamaha DS7 was a one year only bike, nly built in 1972 before Yamaha came out with the RD250.
