This motorcycle is a real gem for any collector or enthusiast. It is difficult and will continue to get harder to find one in great condition. My goal was always to keep in mind to bring everything and restore it as Yamaha built it to in 1983. Due to financial difficulty, chool/work commitment and near future relocation to an apartment, cannot give this bike the love it deserves for the long run. I would really like to see someone passionate and understanding of the history of this bike to own it. These midnight specials are very underestimated in value. Work Completed:

- Only 4,214 Original Miles

- All authentic original OEM parts are on the bike, ncluding original motor, rim, overs, orns, etcocks and accessories.

- Carburetors were professionally cleaned, ebuilt and later the bike was pro-tuned at Cycle Dynamics here in Phoenix, Z.

- Front fender, ear fender, ront turn signal lights and rear brake light metal bulb enclosures, rash bars power coated gloss black.

- Original tank was perfect except for one 8mm ding, hich was professionally repaired and required to be painted. Cost was $500. Still has OEM gold mold trim.

- Battery cover was repainted gloss black with the flat black bottom, xactly to original finish. Air Filter cover was repainted gloss black as well. Both pieces cost $225.

- Brand new OEM Yamaha Gold Gas Tank Emblems. $70.

- Midnight Special gold emblems manufactured in solid metal with lacquer covered gold finish from Australia. These were installed in place of deteriorated plastic emblems on battery and air filter covers. $115.

- Brand new battery, horai Lithium LFX18L1-BS12, mazing product. $160.

- OEM seat and fabric in excellent condition.

- New Iridium NGK spark plugs.

- New K&N oil filter.

- Mobil1 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil 20W-50.

- Valvoline Synthetic SAE 80 API GL-4 final gear oil.

- New vacuum lines from petcock to intake carb boot

- New fuel lines from petcock to carb and new inline fuel filters.

- New clutch cable. Flush with new brake fluid.

- Starter motor has Yamaha bulletin shim fix but uses installed setscrews to lock planetary gear from slipping. This is to increase starter motor torque.

- New starter idle gear installed, o help properly engage flywheel.
