Up for sale is a 1967 Yamaha ym2c. The ym2c was Yamaha's 305 scrambler and the mid range of what Yamaha offered back in 67 with the bigger scramblers. Yamaha had the 250 big bear scrambler witch is very similar to the 305 but had a smaller bore and stroke, nd Yamaha had the 350 Yamaha yr2c scrambler witch was Yamaha's biggest bike to date. The Yamaha ym2c scrambler kind of fell right in the middle of the yds3c scrambler and the Yamaha yr2c scrambler witch makes this bike pretty rare since a bunch of people chose mainly the 250 version or the 350 and the fact that Yamaha only produced the Yamaha ym2c for a year kind of shows that the 305 weren't really in high demand back in the day. This Yamaha 305 up for sale is in really nice original condition with only 8000 miles on it. The Yamaha ym2c shown has been in storage since 1970 and I believe is a 3 owner (me being the 3rd owner) the guy I got it from owned it for 20+ years and he said he never drove it. Since I'm mainly a collector I didn't really care to drive it just mainly wanted to get it running well so I rebuilt the top end of the motor with new Pistons, ings, ew upper rod bearings, ins, nd clips. I cleaned out the carbs and synced them and installed new points. All the fluids are new and the petcock was just rebuilt. All new fuel lines and spark plugs were installed recently. Kind of a cool thing about this bike is just how original it really is being how it has its original Dunlop tires, lack plate, nd the original registration paper work still in its original round holder. All the paint is original and chrome but their is some pitting and even flaking on the chrome but for the most part in really good condition for the age. The paint was just buffed out to a shin but the bike could use a bit more detailing. Everything works on the bike so it could be used back on the street again but I would recommend new tires and a chain just to be on the safe side. The only thing the bike really needs is the carb to air boots I have the clamps you just need the boots. This is a bill of sale bike but you maybe able to easily get it titled with the paper work it comes with. I'm sure I missed some things here and there so if you have any questions about the bike please feel free to give me a call my number is 424 400 1505 and if you would like to see the bike in person before bidding feel free to make a appointment. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE NOT A 100% SURE YOU WANT THE BIKE OR HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT. I am willing to help out with shipping but local pick up only. Thank you
