1981 Yamaha XT500

These bikes are getting harder and harder to find. This is a 1981 Yamaha XT 500. This bike had sat in the barn for 14 years. I cleaned the fuel tank and the carburetor, lus I changed the oil and filter as well as the plug. It started and ran, shifted it through all the gears and drove it for about a mile . The mileage on this bike is unknown . The aluminum tank has a few small dings in it, ut overall is in great shape. The seat has a big rip in it but it's functional. The throttle cables need lubed as a twist throttle sticks. The speedometer and odometer or do not work. A few of the things that the bike needs are a rear sprocket, front sprocket, nbsp;chain, ir filter, ear tire, ront brake lever, lutch lever, ront fender, ear fender, eat cover, good cleaning, nd general maintenance. You are going to have to do some TLC to get this bike rideableand roadworthy.Bike does not have a title with it. I do have the side panels for the bike and they are included with the bike, ut the attachment part that hold them onto the frame broke. Feel free to message me for any questions.
